One building-height figure changes what you're legally required to do.
The height of a building triggers a cascade of separate duties — sprinkler requirements, signage, secure information boxes, evacuation alert systems, and in some cases full Higher-Risk Building status. A proper assessment traces that cascade through, rather than working from a generic checklist.
Common gap
A laminated Fire Action Notice in the lobby does not, on its own, satisfy Regulation 6 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022. Active, individual resident information is a separate legal duty.
